'Tussen de Bogen'(street name) means 'Inbetween the arches' and is build in 1878. Now part of the Amsterdam World Heritage Site!
Frankie's has a very nice and cosy atmosphere. We always serve at least one glass each of Cava (Prosecco) and some extra drinks like ice-tea and juice plus water ofcourse. At this location you can even BYO.
The dance floor of Frankie's is 1,5m below street level. You are pretty private there. Soon we'll have curtains if total privacy is needed.
Location is easy reachable by foot, bus, tram, train, boat or car. Only 1 mile from Central station; walking, or 2 minutes with bus. Parking garage near the venue.
You can have a real nice walk from Dam Square, central station or many hotels via the most famous shopping street Kalverstraat that changes name into the more fun/alternative street: Haarlemmerdijk. Or walk via Amsterdam's lovely canals. Also Westerpark is real nearby!

The pictures (underneath) of the suroundings of Frankie's are all a minute (or 3) away! Underneath for instance the 'Haarlemmerpoort', a perfect place to arrive with a boat! It is also the start of the 'Haarlemmerdijk': a great shopping street with many bars and restaurants. Neighbouring 'Westerpark' is great for picknicks AND has bars/restaurants.
But also 'the Jordaan', a quarter where your next activity or diner might be, is near. The 'Westelijke Eilanden' (West islands) is lesser known to tourists: a true hidden gem and just behind the street! Of course there are also possibilities to eat and drink or get on a (hired) boat towards your next activity!
